differentiate between cell theory and mithochondria

according to cell theory all the cells are arise from pre existing cells ...and all the living organisms made up of cells
mitochondria is a cell organelle which have their own DNA..
in this organelle the biochemical process occur like respiration, and energy production..

Mitochondria Have DNA. Mitochondria and chloroplasts have striking similaritiesto bacteria cells. They have their own DNA, which is separate from the DNA found in the nucleus of the cell. And both organelles use their DNA to produce many proteins and enzymes required for their function.
