They help in preparation of food in leaves .

They contain green pigments which helps to take the sunlight in the process of photosynthesis.

stomata are tiny pores present on the leaves.

They are covered by guard cells which helps in opening and closing up the stomata.

They remove excess moisture from the plant body through transpiration.
