There are two types of plastids :-
Chromoplasts are coloured plastids.Chromoplasts containing the pigment chlorophyll are known as chloroplasts.
Leucoplasts are white or colourless plastids. Leucoplasts are primary organelles in which materials are such as starch, oils and proteins granules are stored.
