DNA exists in Chromatin form in the nucleus. The chromatin condenses to formChromosomes during cell division. Thechromatin in the nucleus forms a 'beads-on-string' structure or Nucleosome. The 'beads' are octamer histone proteins and the 'string' is the double-stranded DNA.
