Communicable disease:

• The diseases which gets transmitted from a sick person( a person who had already suffered from disease) to a healthy person is called communicable disease
• It is also known as infectious disease
• Agents are involved such as water, food, vectors which carries the disease to the healthy person
• Examples include: Corona virus, Influenza

Non-Communicable disease:

• These diseases do not get transmitted from a sick person to a healthy person
• These diseases are mainly caused due to genes inherited from parents, due to environmental situations,etc; and it is not transmittable to people
• It is also called as Non-Infectious Disease
• Agents are not involved
• Examples include: Cancer, Diabetes
