Commuting means daily or periodic travel to and fro from residential place to work place.
Migration means going from one place to another along with belongings and valuables to settle down somewhere else permanently, seeking new opportunities.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COMMUTING AND MIGRATION ARE:-
- Commuting could be interpreted as regular and ordinary travelling between home and work Whereas, migration may infer changing both places of dwelling and place of job.
- Commuting is to regularly travel from their home to their workplace or school, or vice versa whereas, migrating is to relocate occasionally from one region to another which is mostly according to the seasons.
- Commuting implies you are going somewhere or the other and then coming back to the original place whereas, Migration implies that you left the place where you live and leave for a new place for living
