Concave mirror
- Spherical mirrors whose inner side is reflecting are called concave mirrors.
- It's focus and centre of curvature lies in front of the motor
- It is also called a converging mirror

Convex mirror

- It is also called a diverging lens.
- Image formed by a convex mirror is always virtual.
- The magnification produced by a concave mirror can be less than 1.
- These are used as rear view mirrors in a car.
