Cost price (C.P) is the amount of money of the actual product. For example, when a shopkeeper buys a stuff. The amount of that stuff is the C.P

Selling price (S.P) is the amount of money of the product when normal people like you and me buys stuff. For example after the shopkeeper buys it for C.P, they sell it to their customers, this is the selling price
