phanerogams :-
- flowerable and seedable plants
- they have true stems , leaves and roots
- reproductive organs are not hidden that are visible .
- they consist of gymnospermae and angiospermae .
e.g. mango , oat , etc.

In cryptogams no seeds are produced, they are usually produced by spores.
thallophytes, bryophytes comes under this. eg. moss, fern etc
