Difference between cutting and budding:

→ Cutting:

• Cutting is a technique of vegetative propagation.

• The cutting part is grown into a growth medium such as moist soil.

→ Budding:

• Is a type of grafting, in this technique a bud of one plant is inserted into another plant.

• The plant can be produced by bud. this technique is used for nut trees and fruits.

• The most of budding is done during the growing season or just before the growing season.
