The basic difference between biodegradable and non-biodegradable is that biodegradable items decompose or break down naturally. Non-biodegradable items don't. This particular difference is most important when discussing landfills and waste disposal. Large volumes of non-biodegradable waste take up excess waste and are potentially damaging to the environment.

✺BIODEGRADABLE WASTE

  • The waste which is decomposed by living organism in the soil like dead animals ands plants waste

✺NON BIODEGRADABLE WASTE

  • The waste which is not decomposed by living arganism in the soil ,like plastics polythene etc
