Derived demand is the demand for a factor of production used to produce another good or serviceSteel: The demand for steel is strongly linked to the market demand for cars and the construction of new buildingsWood: Wood is a product where much of the demand comes from the uses to which it can be put such as furniture & fencing

Composite demand happens when goods or services have more than one use so that an increase in the demand for one product leads to a fall in supply of the other. E.g. milk which can be used for cheese, yoghurts, cream, butter and other products. If more milk is used for manufacturing cheese, ceteris paribus there is less available for butter

Demand is a quantity of a product which is required by the consumers at a price on a given period of time but derived demand is the demand created by increase in demand of a particular product for example the demand of houses create the demand of cement, iron and wood etc.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
