Differentiate between Direct and indirect democracy!

Nowadays there is actually only indirect democracies, which are also called 'representative democracies', due to that people elect politicians who then make decisions for them, vote on legislations. Direct democracy hardly exist anymore. It means that the people or citizens vote on an item directly.
