In india in direct election the constitution provides for the system of direct election of the members of the Lok Sabha and legislative assembly of every state by the eligible voters.
Indirect election:
In India, The president is indirectly elected by electoral college which consists of the elected members of the two houses of the Parliament as well as of the state legislative assemblies.
