Distance
- It is the length of the path travelled by a object in a certain time.
- It is a scalar quantity.
- It is always positive.
- It depends on the path followed by the object.
- Distance cannot be zero.
Displacement
- It is the shortest distance between the initial and final positions.
- It is a vector quantity.
- It doesn't depends on the path followed by the object.
- Displacement may or may not be zero.
