Differentiate between double fertilization and triple fusion

double fertilisation and triple fusion happen at the same time . the two male games get fertilised by the egg and the polar nuclei, this is double fertilisation. the polar nuclei has two cells in it already and when the male gamete fuses with it they form a triploid . all together making triple fusion by 1 in egg and 2 in polar nuclei.

Double fertilization means when fertilization occurs twice in an organism at once.

Triple fusion means fusion of male germ cell and two polar nuclei to form endosperms.
