Economic Infrastructure is like the Transport & Communications, Power, Energy, Market, Financial Institutions etc, which are commercial in nature & are provided to make the business in the country easier & more profitable. The same also makes the economy of a country richer. While Social Infra, like Healthcare for poor, Sanitation, Education, Skill development, Parks, Rural Roads, etc, is more on providing basic well being facilities for the needy. Here usually the private sector doesn't show interest in making a business since its not much profitable. Its more like social service. So State/Govt takes the onus of providing the same.

Infrastructure means the basic facilities which are necessary for the development of a nation.

Economic infrastructure is the combination of basic facilities which is helpful in economic development of an economy and businesses. It includes facilities of telecommunication, electricity, transportation, energy etc.

Social infrastructure is the combination of basic facilities which are necessary for human development. It includes health (hospitals), education (school, colleges etc.) and housing.

Both of these infrastructures are complementary to each other and are necessary for the overall development of an economy.
