Differentiate between endosmosis and exosmosis.

Actually, These both are the types of osmosis. The initial words ENDO and EXO expose the main difference between them.

Endosmosis is the movement of water into the cell whereas Exosmosis is the movement of water out of the cell.

Example of endosmosis is absorption of capillary water from the soil by the root. another example of endosmos is is entrance of water in the xylem vessel from the soil by the root.
