Hey ,

Epidermal:-
The epidermal is thin or the outer layer of the skin which is visible and provides protection to the body , this outer layer provides access to the nutrients and disposing of the waste and
thickness of ebidermal depends on the protection required by a specific area.

Cork cells:-
the cork cells are used to replace the epidermal and the outer layer but they are used in plants unlike epidermal, these cells
are packed together, there are pores in cork cells.

Hope it help you !
Thanks!
