Epistolary Novel: In this type of novels they used the private and personal form of letters to tell the story. Through these letters they tell about the hidden conflict among the characters of novel.
eg: Samuel Richardson's  'Pamela'.

Serialized Novel : These novels allowed the readers to relish the suspense: discuss the character of a novel and live for weeks with their stories
e.g. Charles Dickens's 'Pickwick Papers'

NOVELS WRITTEN IN THE FORM OF SERIES OF LETTERS IS CALLED EPISTOLARY NOVELS.
Example : Samuel Richardson's "Pamela".

NOVELS PUBLISHED IN THE FORM OF INSTALMENTS IS CALLED SERIALISED NOVEL, EACH PART IS IN A NEW ISSUE OF A JOURNAL.
Example: Charles Dickens's "Pickwick Papers".
