Erosion - The process by which water, ice, wind, or gravity moves fragments of rock and soil. Deposition - The process by which sediment settles out of the water or wind that is carrying it, and is deposited in a new location.

easy. both are fairly opposite of each other.

deposition means depositing of soil at a certain place which might have been carried through some agent like air or water.

erosion is removal of soil by agents like air or water.

its interesting that how the agents in both of these processes are same.
