in prokaryotic cells , cell don't have a nuclear membrane and nucleus without nuclear membrane is called nucleoid and chromatin material is scattered in prokaryotic cells eg:bacteria
whereas in eukaryotic cells ,cell have a nuclear membrane and true nucleus is present unlike in prokaryotic cells and chromatin material is enclosed within a nuclear membrane eg:all plants and animals
