Forests consist of large tress which forms big shelters but not ground level shelters for animals.

While trees are good in supporting many small creatures, birds, squirrels, monkeys and creepy crawly things, they are also great to give shelter to larger carnivores.

Animals in the grassland ecosystem do not get enough shade and they have to adapt accordingly.
