ᐅ It is a type of balancing the uptake and loss of water.

ᐅ It is usually done by as exosmosis and endosmosis.

Exhalation : The flow of the breath out of an organism.

Defecation : The discharge of faeces from the body.

Exosmosis : The movement of water outside the cells when a cell is placed in a hypertonic solution

Endosmosis : The movement of the water inside the cells when the cell is placed in a hypotonic solution
