Differentiate between external fertilisation and internal fertilisation

in external fertilization , male & female gametes fuses outside the female body like frog
but in internal they fuses inside female body like human

in internal fertilization the fertilization takes place inside the female body whereas in external fertilization, fertilization takes place out side of the body.

• in external fertilization a huge number of eggs and sperms will be fertilized but in internal only one egg and sperm fuses.

• the fussed egg has protection in internal fertilization but not in external.
