Answer:
There are three major differences in the Fixed and the Movable Pulley. Here they are-
1. In a Fixed pulley, the wheel doesn't move, whereas in the Movable Pulley the wheel moves along with the load.
2. In a Fixed Pulley it is attached just above the load to be pulled at the point of attachment , whereas in the Movable pulley , it is attached to the load.
3. The Movable Pulley increases the size of the force whereas the Fixed Pulley changes the direction of the force.
