Forest and Flora:

  • Flora is considered as cumulative amount of all vegetation found in a region.
  • It can include Forests, grasslands, mosses, aquatic vegetation and every thing.
  • But, forest has different criteria.
  • It consists of dense amount of vegetation, with presence of trees, shrubs, creepers and all.
  • There are also stratifications of forests like canopy, bedlinen vegetation etc.
  • So, forest can be a part of natural flora of region. But, flora can include much more than that.
