Functional structure: When we define an organisation structure on the basis of functions then we will call it functional structure. In this type of structure organisation normally focuses only on limited skills and same type of tasks will be merged into one function.

Divisional structure: In this type of organisation structure an organisation have independent departments which perform their own set of functions and we can see this type of structure in large companies like Nestle and HUL.
