Gaurd cells

  • gaurd cells are present in stomata.
  • they help in the process of transpiration.
  • the loss of water through stomata is caused due to the change in turgidity of the gaurd cell.

Muscle cells

  • muscle cells are of three types:
  1. smooth muscle
  2. skeleton muscle
  3. cardiac muscle
  • skeleton muscle are voluntary.
  • smooth muscle and cardiac muscle are involuntary.
  • muscle cells are made up of fibres known as myofibrils.
