Differentiate between genotype and phenotype.

Genotype :- The genotype of an organism is the genetic code in its cells. This genetic constitution of an individual influences – but is not solely responsible for – many of its traits.


Phenotype :- The phenotype is the visible or expressed trait, such as hair color. The phenotype depends upon the genotype but can also be influenced by environmental factors.

PHENOTYPE :: In simple words we can describe the phenotype as the characters
which are visible to us.

for example; the height of a person

hair colour etc

GENOTYPE: It is quite opposite to phenotype

it is a part of genetic cell

We can also describe it as characters which are not visible to us

for example ; genetic materials....
