Germination
If we say in simple words it is the process in which a seed develops into a seedling with the help of nutrients which is already in that seed . It nurtures itself by nutrients and then grows into a plant to make its own food and to live and to survive.
Vivipary
Vivipary is the condition in which the embryo grows and breaks through seed coat and then out of fruit wall but still after all this it is attached to the parent plant. Example- Bruguiera etc.

GERMINATION ―――>> It is a process of the transformation of seed into a mature plant. In this process first a seed develops into a seedling and then finally into a mature plant. The development of seed allows it to make its own food so that it does depend on others. Thus it makes it independent. ................................................................................................................................................ VIVIPARY ―――>> It is a process in which the development of seed takes place when it is still attached with the fruit. In this process young ones are born in advance stages because seeds cannot develop by themselves as they are not able to adapt themselves with the excessive salt content and lack of O₂. Eg. -- Sonneratia.
