Answer:

Differences between glucose and amino acids:

1. Glucose can be defined as a simple sugar which is an important energy source in living organisms, whereas amino acids can be defined as the organic compounds which contain carboxyl and an amino group.

2. We can obtain glucose from amino acids whereas amino acids can be obtained by eating meat , egg etc.

Differences  between micro and macro molecules:

1. Macromolecules are large complex molecules present in the colloidal state in the intercellular fluid ,whereas micro molecules are relatively small molecules.

2.Examples of macro molecules include lipids, proteins , nucleic acid and examples of micro molecules include  sugar and fatty acids.

 GLUCOSE:

  • a simple sugar containing six carbon atoms and an aldehyde group and is, therefore, an aldohexose. having the molecular formula C₆H₁₂O₆
  • glucose is a monosaccharide that can combine to form disaccharides such as lactose and sucrose

AMINO ACIDS:

  • organic compounds that contain amino and carboxylate, functional groups, along with a side chain specific to each amino acid.
  • They combine to form proteins.

Macro molecule:

  • they are huge molecules that are formed by the polymerization of smaller molecules called monomers.
  • Have molecular weight greater than 1000 amu.
  • Example: protein, nucleic acid, polysaccharides

Micro molecule:

  • they are created from a small number of constructive parts, and they are the monomers.
  • Have molecular weight less than 1000 amu.
  • Examples: amino acids, a simple sugar
