differentiate between gravitational constant and acceleration due to gravity

- The universal gravitational constant is represented by G and acceleration due to gravity is represented by g. G is constant or same everywhere in the universe but g varies for example g at earth is 6 times larger than g at moon. acceleration due to gravity is represented by g.

gravitational constant is used for the universe.
acceleration due to gravity is used for the Earth only.
