Differentiate between green plants and fungi.

Plants are eukaryotic autotrophs (with chlorophyll therefore carrying out photosynthesis, producers). Fungi are eukaryotic heterotrophs (without chlorophyll) living either as saprophytes; feeding on dead or decayed matter or as parasites.
