GROSS CALORIFIC VALUE: The heat produced by the combustion of unit quantity of a fuel when burned at constant volume in an oxygen bomb calorimeter. PHYSIOLOGICAL VALUE: The amount of energy available to the body after burning of a fuel is termed as Physiological value.
