Herbivorous are the animals who eat herbs or vegetarian food only . They are also called Herbivores. Carnivorous are the animals who eat meat ,flesh or non-vegetarian food.

HERBIVORUS -

▶️ They are directly depended on plants.

▶️ E.g.- Deer, Giraffe.

CARNIVORUS-

▶️ They kill animals and eat their flesh.

▶️ They are indirectly depended on plants. That means, a lion kills a deer and eats it but that deer eats plants. So, the lion also indirectly eats plants.
