hetero and euchromatin both are types of chromatin found in nucluesthere are a lot of differences b/w them like hetero is more dense where euchromatin is less dense hetero is highly coiled where euchromatin is less coiled hetero replicates during s phase while that replicates durinr s phase hetero is present in inactive state in dna while that is present in active state

Heterochromatin is genetically inactive and dense region of chromosome(tightly packed) while euchromatin is genetically active and rich in loosly packed DNA(transcription occurs here)
