The Himadri (Or Greater Himalayas):

The Himadri consists of all the major mountains in the Himalayas.

It is the highest mountain.

The peaks in this region include: Kanchenjunga (the highest peak) and the Zaskar Range.

The Himachal (Or Middle Himalayas):

The Himachal consists of many hill stations like Shimla and Kullu Valley.

It is around 3700 - 4500 meters above the sea level.

It includes sub - ranges like the Mahabharat and Dhauladar.

The Shivaliks (Or Outer Himalayas):

It consists of many duns.

It is about an average of 100 - 900 meters above sea level.

One of the famous duns: Dehradun.
