Himalayan rivers :-
a. Himalayan rivers have water through out the year
b. They have long courses from the source of their mouth
c. The area covered by the Himalayan rivers is very large
d. They bring alluvium soil with them and deposit it in the Indo
Peninsular River :-
a. They don't have Continuous flow of water through out the year
b. They have sorter and shallower course
c. They cover very small area as compare to Himalayan
d. They don't bring enough alluvium as the deposition is negligible.

Himalayan rivers get water from snow and rain, whereas Peninsular rivers are fed by rain only. The drainage of basin of Himalayan rivers is comparatively larger than Peninsular rivers. Himalayans river form a V-shaped valley , while the Peninsular watercourses form valley having U- shape....
