Hello Friend !

HIMALYAN rivers are perennial. They depend on rainfall as well as melting of snow.

PENINSULAR rivers are seasonal mostly. They depend on rainfall.

HIMALAYAN rivers have long courses from thier source to mouth.

PENINSULAR rivers have shorter and shallower courses.

HIMALAYAN river perform intesive erosional activities in their upper courses.

PENINSULAR river hardly performs any erosional activities even in their upper course.

Major HIMALAYAN rivers are Indus , Ganga and Brahmaputra.

Major PENINSULAR rivers are Mahanadi, Godavri, Krishna, Kaveri Narmada and Tapi.

Hope this helps !!
