homogenous is a mixture where the components that make up the mixture uniformly destributed through out the mixture.

Example; air,sugar water,rain water,vodka,vineger.

Heterogeneous
Heterogeneous is a mixture where the component of the mixture are not uniform.

Example; gravel,pizza,blood,ice in soda,mixed nuts and soil.

homogeneous and heterogeneous are two types of mixtures.
Homogeneous mixtures are the mixtures which are uniformly or evenly distributed through out the composition.They have same chemical properties throughout the substance.

Heterogeneous mixtures are the mixtures which are not uniformly distributed and don't show similar chemical properties through out the composition.They also have phases of matter in it.
