In a Homogeneous mixture the constituents are uniformly mixed.constituents cannot be seen easily. They cannot be easily separated.e.g: air, salt solution, copper sulphate solution.
In heterogeneous mixtures the constituents are not uniformly mixed they have clear boundaries of separation
Constituents can be seen easily.they can also be separated easily.e.g:sand & water, oil & water
Oil is a heterogeneous mixture. It is an emulsion.
