Amount of water vapour present in the air is called humidity
The fall of water drops from sky is called rainfall

we can say that .humidity is defined as the amount of water vapor present in the air as a percentage of that required for saturation at the current temperature. When saturation is reached, water condenses into clouds, forming rain  droplets. means then the rain fall.
