Insecticides are the substances that are used to kill insects such as wine weevils, aphids etc. which destroy the small plants and variety of crops.

Some insecticides are aldrin, chlordane, DDT etc.

These substances cause internal internal hemorrhaging to kill the rodents.

Fungicides are the substances which kill the fungus which causes diseases in plants due to which the plant is destroyed. But, some diseases in plants caused by fungi cannot be cured by fungicides. Some fungi that destroy plants are Alternaria solani and  Didymella bryoniae etc.
