1- CONDUCTIVITY :- solid ionic compounds do not conduct electricity because there are no free electrons but can conduct when dissolved in water..
covalent compounds do not conduct electricity..
2- MP & BP :- MP & BP of covalent compounds are low while ionic solids are of highjer MP & BP.
3- SOLUBILITY :- Ionic compounds are soluble in water but not in nonpolar liquid while covalents are soluble in nonpolar liquids but not in water..
