Khadin-these are check dam which are made on land by making a bund to stop rain water and let it seep down in ground so that ground water can be replenished and can be used any time. It is very cheap method.
Roof top - it is a method of conserving water by few things like roof pipe and underground water tank. The rain water that fall on the roof is collected by roof pipe and to a filter to filter the water and is collected in under ground tank or can be replenished by handpumps.
