Difference Between Kharif andRabi Crops. ... On the other hand,Rabi crops are grown in winter, i.e. sown when monsoon ends and harvested before the advent of the summer season. Kharif crops require hot and wet climate whereas cold and dry climate is best suited for Rabi crops.

kharif crop ,such as paddy ,require a lot of water .they are shown at the beginning of the South -west monsoon ,in september/october.some other kharif crops are maize soyabean and cotton
Rabi crop ,such a wheat ,sown at the beginning of winter season (october-december)and harvested by March /April .some other Ravi crops are gram P mustard and line seed
