Differentiate between land degradation and soil erosion

land degradation and soil erosion in both cases the land looses its fertility but in other ways in land degradation the top most layer of the soil loose its fertility by the flow of heavy wind  the uppermost soil fertility get down and down but in another case soil erosion the soil loses its fertility by continue cropping a same type of crop and use of chemical fertilizers continuously
