Legislature-
The powers of the legislative branch in India are governed by the Parliament. The parliament consists of two houses and President. Each house needs to meet within 6 months of its previous sitting and a joint sitting can be done in the certain cases. The two houses consist of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha consists of 545 members of which 543 are elected by the citizens of India and 2members are elected by the President from the Anglo-Indian Community. Lok Sabha is also known as the house of people or Lower House. Rajya Sabha is the Upper House and it consists of 245 members of which 233 are elected from state and Union territories and 12 are selected by the president. Every second year 1/3rd of the members will retire. The minimum age to become a Rajya Sabha member is 30 and for Lok Sabha 25.
The legislature is the policy making body of India. The new bill is discussed, overviewed in the legislature and it is legislature’s duty to make a decision upon which bill should be passed.

Judiciary-
Judiciary is the adjudicating body of India which consists of Supreme Court. The Supreme Court includes chief justice and 30 associated justices, all appointed by the President. Judiciary has the right to review and pass the bills which are passed by the Parliament.
So the duties of three pillars of Government of India has been defined clearly and there is no single body exerts can influence others.
