  1. Objects that can emit light energy by themselves are known as luminous objects.
  2. These objects can cause the sensation of light.
  3. The sun and candle are the two examples.

Non - Luminous objects

  1. Objects that cannot emit light energy by themselves are known as non-luminous objects.
  2. These objects do not cause the sensation of light.
  3. The moon and plants are the two examples.
